Michel DEMUTH est un écrivain de SF français, romancier, novelliste et traducteur prématurément disparu.
On lui notamment doit une "histoire du futur", Les Galaxiales, de nombreuses nouvelles (dont Yragaël, qui inspira Ph. Druillet) et la traduction des Dune de F. Herbert.
Jean-Claude Vantroyen et la revue Lunatique lui rendent hommage.
